Frequently Asked Question's

Is Organik Wellness & Co. an Australian Company?
Yes, Organik Wellness & Co. is proudly Australian Made & Owned. All our products are developed by our team in the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. Established in 2016 our team is committed to delivering innovative, high-quality products, all whilst seeking to use the best natural and organic ingredients Australia has to offer.

Why should I choose natural and organic?
Organic produce is becoming more accessible thanks to consumer demand. With GMO’S and heavy pesticide use, it has never been a better time to choose natural and organic. Pesticide exposure, either directly or via mamas during pregnancy and breastfeeding, is linked to declining cognitive function in children.

However, many cosmetic brands are still using synthetic ingredients with misleading marketing information to allure the consumer into thinking their products are safe. These brands are also large contributors to environmental damage and continue to test on animals. We encourage consumers to opt for brands that use natural and organic ingredients for the benefit of their health and the future of our planet and children.

Are Organik Wellness & Co. products certified organic?
Organik Wellness & Co. used to be certified with ACO (Australian Certified Organic) which is Australia’s leading organic and bio-dynamic certification body.  Due to COVID-19 we had to look at ways to save costs to ensure our business could continue to trade. In 2020 we made the decision not to continue with our certification.  However our manufacture is certified with ACO and we continue to use the same quality ingredients and hope that in the near future we can sustain our certification once again.  All organic ingredients listed in our products are certified. If you would like more information regarding this please contact us directly at hello@organikwellness.com.au

Do you test your products on animals?
We DO NOT test our products on animals.  We never will.

Why have I noticed product variation?
Our ingredients are natural and organic in origin, therefore due to seasonal variations, you may notice a slight change in colour and consistency between batches. All of our products are made in small batches, as opposed to mass-produced.

I am concerned about nut allergies; can I still use your products?
Some of our products contain Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter, both are a nut derivate. If you or your baby has been diagnosed with a tree nut allergy we recommend seeking the advice of a health care professional before using our products.

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy and on newborns?
Our products have been specifically formulated for mothers and babies. We recommend our Vapour Lotion for bubba's 3 months and older. However, as a precaution, we suggest doing a patch test before use and checking with a health care professional with any concerns you may have.

Are essential oils safe for use on babies?
The essential oils used in our products have been specifically chosen for their benefits towards babies and children, our qualified chemist and research team have formulated the range to ensure the ratios are safe for use , especially on babies.  If you have further questions or concerns about the use of essential oils please seek the advice of a qualified aromatherapist.

My little one suffers from eczema; can I still use your products?
